Hi there! I have been getting requests for me to do swatches of these two palettes I got a month (or two) ago, the Bobbie Cosmetics Smoked Out and Into the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette. I have taken swatches and pictures of these for days now, just sitting on my laptop waiting to be posted soooo without further ado let’s get on with it, shall we?
Bobbie Cosmetics Smoked Out Eyeshadow Palette
These are a mixture of matte, shimmer and satin shadows. Great for daytime to nighttime look. On swatch, the matte ones are powdery and lacks color intensity, well what do you expect this palette costs 215 pesos only! For its price, it is a decent eyeshadow palette if you are on a budget just make sure to use an eyelid primer beforehand and foil it as you please.
The packaging looks nice, kind of reminds me of Naked and Revealed palettes but of course with a cheaper version of it, made out of carton and plastic.
Take note that prior to applying the swatches I used my ELF eyelid primer just so it will show off better on photos. It’s really hard to get a decent color payoff if I use it alone. Color selection is great, very wearable colors, not too colorful which I prefer for most days.
Bobbie Cosmetics Into the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
This palette, on the other hand, consists of shimmer and satin shadows. No matte. So I would suggest getting the two palettes so you get the best of both worlds.
Into the Nudes palette has more playful colors in it which is great for summer and for girls who love pop of colors on their eye makeup. Again, considering its price which is very very affordable, 215 pesos, you get decent colors to choose from for an everyday makeup to a formal one whichever you may need.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend these palettes for beginners because of its easy blendability. It is not highly pigmented so you can practice your eye makeup skills with this before moving on to much more pigmented shadows. Given it is not highly pigmented, each palette can be worn for an everyday makeup look for subtle smokey and not too intense eye look. Again, to get the most out of the colors please use an eyelid primer!
Don’t forget to check out the two looks I did with these palettes.
Thanks so much for your time and until my next one!xx
